  • Kim Stanford, MD, MPH

    Kimberly Stanford, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago and the Director of ED HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Screening at the Chicago Center for HIV Elimination (CCHE). A nationally recognized expert on screening for syphilis and HIV in the ED, Dr. Stanford is an NIH-funded implementation scientist whose research focuses on leveraging the emergency department visit as a key point of contact with the healthcare system for patients who might otherwise have limited access to care, creating opportunities for critical public health interventions related to infectious and chronic diseases and social determinants of health.

    Tej Prakash Sinha, M.S. is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at JPN Apex Trauma Center, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (India). He is the chief coordinator of the WHO collaborative center for emergency and trauma care in the South East Asian region.

    After finishing residency at Cook County, Dr. John Bailitz served as a clerkship director, assistant program director, advising committee chair, cardiac arrest committee chair, and POCUS division director. John returned to his medical school alma mater, Northwestern University, as program director in 2017 and now serves as vice-chair for academic affairs and system POCUS director. John has been an educator and leader in the ACEP US Section, Society for Clinical US Fellowships, Emergency US Fellowship Accreditation Council, ACEP Education, and ABEM. John carefully integrates a busy family and work life while helping his colleagues create enjoyable and impactful medical careers.

  • Richard W. Sapp, MD, MS

    Richard Sapp is a third year emergency medicine resident at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency (MGH/BWH). He attended Stanford University for his BS and MS in Biology (Neuroscience) and his MD degree. His is passionate about disability advocacy and medical education. He has created multiple courses for undergraduates and medical students on disability care including "Diverse Perspectives on Disabilities" and "Caring for Patients with Disabilities". His current research interests include evaluating EM residents on their preparedness to care for patients with disabilities, creating curriculum on disability health for GME/CME, and on disability health equity in the emergency department and hospiital.
