The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) offers two ways to connect with our academic emergency medicine community: by joining as a member or by creating a free account. Joining as a full member gives you exclusive benefits, including event discounts, journal access, leadership opportunities, and more.

The non-member account option, with limited access, is primarily for exhibitors, presenters, and speakers at the SAEM Annual Meeting needing to register for the event and submit required disclosures, and for those looking to access SAEM's EM Job Link portal for industry opportunities. Faculty Non-MemberIndividuals with an advanced degree such as MD, DO, PhD, DSc, or equivalent who hold a university appointment or are actively involved in emergency medicine.
Associate Non-MemberPA/NP/EMT/RN/research coordinators/project managers, lay public and government officials.
Pharmacist/PharmD Non-MemberPharmacists working in or interested in emergency medicine.
Pharmacy Resident Non-MemberPharmacy residents working in or interested in emergency medicine.
Pharmacist/PharmD Year 1 Non-MemberPharmacists in their first year out of residency working in or interested in emergency medicine.
Young Physician Year 1 Non-MemberPhysicians in their first year following residency graduation.
Young Physician Year 2 Non-MemberPhysicians in their second year following residency graduation.
Resident Non-MemberResidents interested in emergency medicine.
Fellow Non-MemberFellows interested in emergency medicine.
Medical Student Non-MemberMedical students interested in emergency medicine.
Pharmacy Student Non-MemberPharmacy students interested in emergency medicine.
Active Duty Military Non-MemberA person who is active duty in the United States military full time. They work for the military full time, may live on a military base, and can be deployed at any time.
