Special Issue AEM: Geriatric Emergency Medicine

Academic Emergency Medicine
is delighted to announce a Call for Papers for a Special Issue of Academic Emergency Medicine dedicated to advancing the science and emergency care of older adults. As the global population ages, the Emergency Department (ED) plays an increasingly critical role in supporting the complex and diverse needs of geriatric patients. We welcome interdisciplinary perspectives that incorporate geriatrics, emergency medicine, nursing, social work, pharmacy, physical therapy, and health policy. Submissions should highlight how findings can lead to improved clinical outcomes, patient-centered care, or systemic change.
