The following year I became fellowship director and have expanded our program to include a 2-year medical education/ultrasound track as well as a primary care ultrasound track. I have been an SAEM AEUS member since 2016 and have continued to attend the annual meeting and SonoGames. I currently serve as a member of the SAEM Medical Education Committee. I am a peer reviewer for Academic Emergency Medicine Education and Training journal. My specific areas of interest are in medical education, nerve blocks, and use of social media.

If elected AEUS Treasurer, I will continue the great work of the current Executive Committee. I will elicit the views of all stakeholders in our large and inclusive ultrasound community. My specific goals are to:

Ensure equitable distribution of funds in a way that promotes the mission of AEUS

Utilize social media to promote AEUS, its educational resources, and to support our members

AEUS has played an important role in inspiring me to pursue an academic career, it would be an honor to serve on the Executive Committee. I believe I have the skills to contribute to the ongoing success of AEUS. Thank you for considering me for this position.
