“eyeTrainer: Describing the Learning Curve in Bedside Cardiac Ultrasound Interpretation”

The goal of this project is to determine the learning curve in cardiac ultrasound image interpretation to better inform future training guidelines. Our first aim is to create an online database of cardiac ultrasound studies with a majority of clinically relevant pathologic findings such as cardiogenic shock and tamponade. Our second aim is to determine the average number of scans to achieve 85% diagnostic accuracy in image interpretation by visual assessment.
