Ryan D. Pappal, BS, NRP
Member-at-Large Washington University in St. Louis
Biography
"I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and attended undergrad at Rice University and was a paramedic and a member of the leadership board of Rice Emergency Medical Services. I attended medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and took an additional funded year to complete a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation via the Pre-Doctoral TL1 Program. I am now a PGY-1 in Emergency Medicine at the Harvard-Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
I have served on the RAMS Research Committee for two terms and as a Medical Student Representative on the RAMS Board for two terms, and am now in my third year on the RAMS Board as a Resident Member-at-Large. My professional interests include clinical research, cardiac emergencies, and resident & trainee wellness. My hobbies center around spending time outside on hikes and camping, as well as music - ever since lockdown, I can officially say I am an amateur EDM music producer."
