Biography
Robert Stenberg, MD, is emergency ultrasound director at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he also serves as fellowship director for the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship.
Dr. Stenberg earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Additionally, he subsequently completed a fellowship in emergency ultrasound at Virginia Commonwealth University.
His work focuses on medical education and clinical practice in emergency ultrasound. His additional interests are procedural education, critical care, and regional anesthesia. He holds academic appointments at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Stenberg is active in national organizations such as the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a co-chair in the Ultrasound Section Critical Care Subcommittee and has participated in SonoGames as a station lead.
