Jared Ditkowsky, MD

Biography

Jared Ditkowsky is currently a Pgy3 incoming Chief Resident at The Mount Sinai Hospital/Elmhurst Hospital Center’s Department of Emergency Medicine. After attaining his undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal, he pursued his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Subsequently, he began his residency in Emergency Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital. While enrolled in medical school, he developed a research interest in cost-effective analysis of public health programs, which he recently merged with a career interest in ED-operations. This year he was chosen as an Assistant Vice Chair on EMRA’s Administration and Operations Committee, a role he hopes will allow him to expand his research and career interests both personally, and to other residents.
