Andrew Golden

Biography

Andrew Golden is a first-year Medical Education Fellow at the University of Chicago Section of Emergency Medicine.  He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from Purdue University before attending medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.  He completed his residency training and was a Chief Resident at the University of Cincinnati Department of Emergency Medicine.  As a Medical Education Fellow, he currently works as an attending physician at the University of Chicago adult emergency department and is involved with resident and medical student education.  His research interests include workplace-based assessment of learners, entrustable professional activities, and entrustment decisions.  When not working, he can often be found running along Lake Michigan or SCUBA diving in new tropical locations.
