Career Transitions, Pivots, and Succession Planning #StopTheStigmaEM

In this Stop The Stigma EM Month webinar, sponsored by the SAEM Wellness Committee, we will be exploring career transitions, professional pivots, retirement, and succession planning as important components of physician wellness. The session will address both the challenges and opportunities of changing roles, including stigma and identity concerns as well as the potential for renewed purpose, professional growth, greater flexibility, and creating space for new opportunities and leaders. It will also discuss structured succession planning as a strategy to prevent burnout, support sustainable leadership, and strengthen the next generation of emergency medicine leaders.
