SAEM Hackathon Webinar Learning Series: Enhancing Inputs to Optimize Outputs
In this third session of the SAEM Hackathon Webinar Learning Series, we will explore how you should think about building informatics and data science models, addressing questions like:
- What data represent the optimal inputs?
- How should you address data missingness?
- What types of models can you apply? Which should you apply?
This session is open to anyone interested in a primer on approaching problems with an informatics lens, and is especially helpful for those who are interested in participating in the Hackathon event at SAEM26. It will be led by Sayon Dutta, MD, MPH, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School and the Epic Platform Architect at Mass General Brigham, where he works to implant new solutions for acute care into the electronic medical record.
