New England Regional Meeting (NERDS)

The 26th Annual SAEM New England Regional Meeting (NERDS23) was held on April 5, 2023. It was sponsored in part by the Alpert Medical School of Brown University Department of Emergency Medicine. It featured a traditional poster session, lightning orals, plenary orals, innovations, and a keynote address, "Patient Agitation, Mental Health Crises, and Workplace Violence in the Emergency Department: A Systems Approach,” from Dr. Ambrose Wong, research director and fellowship director at the Yale Center for Medical Simulation.
