The Wilderness and Environmental Medicine Academy (WEMA) works to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and management of illness and injury in challenging environments. Through mentorship, specialized curricula, and collaboration across SAEM committees and external organizations, WEMA supports emergency physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
