September 2025

Residency application season is here! Remember to submit your ResidencyCAS application by September 24 to be considered on time, and check out our upcoming Acing Interview Season webinar on October 23 for expert advice on standing out in interviews. Interested in leadership? SAEM Leadership Nominations are due November 7. You can learn more by attending our Meet the RAMS Board webinar on October 2. Committee interest forms are open until October 10, and didactic proposals for SAEM26 are due October 2 - don't miss your chance to get involved! Applications for RAMS and SAEM awards open October 1, with the Medical Student Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award due November 30.

Take advantage of your membership and get involved through SAEM's academies, interest groups, and committees! Academies and interest groups are free to join at any time, while committee signups open in late August and are open until early October annually. More great opportunities to get involved include presenting at the SAEM Annual Meeting or nominating yourself or another for an SAEM RAMS award.
