Welcome to the Disaster Medicine Roadmap, your step-by-step guide on how to succeed in disaster medicine at every training level. Disaster medicine is a niche field within emergency medicine that addresses how to best prevent, respond, and recover to a wide variety of disasters from a medical perspective, ranging from natural disasters like tornadoes and hurricanes to man-made disasters and mass casualty incidents like nuclear accidents and acts of terrorism, respectively.
