Biography

​Dr. Stenberg is the emergency ultrasound director at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, subsequently pursuing a fellowship in emergency ultrasound at Virginia Commonwealth University. ​

In his current role, Dr. Stenberg serves as the fellowship director for the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. He holds academic appointments as a clinical assistant professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University and as a clinical associate professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Dr. Stenberg’s professional interests include procedural education, critical care, and regional anesthesia. He co-chairs the American College of Emergency Physicians' Ultrasound Section's Critical Care Subcommittee. ​

Dr. Stenberg is actively involved in medical education and has contributed to various publications. He has also participated in the American College of Emergency Physicians' Sonogames, serving as a station lead in multiple rounds.​
