Biography
Frank Jurkiewicz, M.B.A serves as the Vice Chair of Administrative Affairs for the University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. In this role, he functions as the chief non-faculty executive (Chief Administrator, Emergency Services) in the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM).
Frank’s primary goal is to ensure that faculty have the resources and infrastructure necessary to optimize their productivity in each mission domain while maintaining a sustainable financial model. His focus is on continuous collaboration and the development and implementation of operations and infrastructure necessary to advance the clinical, education, and research missions.
Frank completed a Master of Business Administration at the Krannert School of Management – Purdue University and has assembled a leadership career in healthcare over the past 18 years, which includes both academic health center and private practice groups.
He has had the opportunity over the years and across several premiere academic and private medical centers and colleges to work with many bright, rising stars in academics and healthcare. Experience includes Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Indiana University Health - Indiana University School of Medicine and the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.
