The Minneapolis SAEMF Dinner
Monday, December 18th, 2023 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm CT

• Owamni by The Sioux Chef -- Strengthen the future of emergency medicine while experiencing the true flavors of North America, featuring foods of Mni Sota Makoce, Land Where the Waters Reflect the Clouds, brought to you by James Beard Foundation Award-winning Chef, Sean Sherman. The evening will feature a selection of special wines from native winemakers.
  
  Kick off the festive season with a holiday shopping adventure at the Mall of America, conveniently located a stone's throw away from Owamni, where you will later indulge in this special dinner to make your day truly unforgettable.

  Tickets for SAEMF Dinners are $375 Faculty, $175 Residents.
  Table sponsorship is $5,000 for a table of 10 and includes event sponsor recognition.

Uncorked for EM Virtual Tastings

Reconnect, invest, and come raise your glass and your spirits in support of investing in the most promising educators and researchers in EM. These virtual tastings, for wine and now whiskey lovers, have already helped raise much-needed funds to make more EM grants possible. Join your academy or interest group for an evening of wine and whiskey education, camaraderie, and fun all from the comfort of your own home. Uncorked for EM tastings feature tastings by renowned winemakers throughout the country.

Are you interested in hosting a personal, virtual tasting to benefit EM research and education? You would just need to confirm an intimate group of 15-25 colleagues/friends who would attend and suggest an event date. We'll do the rest! Contact us to explore your tasting.

Generous event donors and sponsors raised over $69,000 and counting this year!

SAEMF member champions, Drs. Jim Adams, Ted Corbin, Eric Dickson, Andy Jagoda, Jamie McCarthy, Zack Meisel, Susan Promes, Neha Raukar, and Greg Volturo have led several SAEMF Dinner events this year in New York, Chicago, Pennsylvania, and a hugely successful virtual wine tasting. Through their outreach, more members are now aware of SAEMF's grants and have become event donors to support this important mission.

Institutions have answered the call to support SAEMF's  investment in emergency medicine research and career development, while also providing their faculty and trainees a moment of wellness and appreciation. The following have sponsored event tables this year:
