"Improve Emergency Department Ischemic Stroke Care with in Situ Simulation”

This proposal details the plan to use in situ simulation to educate and train emergency department (ED) staff in stroke protocols in order to improve the care of patients who self-present with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) symptoms to an urban, county ED that cares for the underserved and is not designated as a primary stroke center.
