What Is It?

A simple, one-time mentorship meeting during the SAEM Annual Meeting that’s easy to join and easy to complete.

This pilot program is modeled on successful annual-meeting mentorship programs used by other academic societies.

How It Works

Time commitment: 20–30 minutes
Format: One-time meet-up during the Annual Meeting

1. Sign up in advance
   As a mentor and/or mentee.
   Mentors must be fellows or attendings.
2. Share your interests
   Complete a brief survey about your goals.
3. Get matched
   You’ll receive an email introduction before the meeting, with simple next steps.
4. Meet at the conference
   Choose a time and place that works for you both—coffee, hallway chat, or walk-and-talk.
