SAEM RAMS Hunt
Scavenger Hunt Meets Medical Mastery in a Fast-Paced Quest for Teamwork and Triumph
The SAEM RAMS Hunt is an adventure that blends competition, collaboration, and curiosity into one unforgettable experience! It’s the perfect way to explore the SAEM Annual Meeting host city, connect with other residency programs, and put your teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test in a fast-paced, quest-style challenge.
As you race from clue to clue and landmark to landmark, your team will face a series of creative challenges that blend medical knowledge with real-world relevance. Each task highlights the importance of understanding how physiologic sex and sociocultural factors shape patient care, medical education, and professional growth.
It’s hands-on learning meets epic scavenger hunt — all designed to sharpen your skills, strengthen your team, and spark new connections in the emergency medicine community.
How It Works
Teams of three will be guided to key locations throughout the city, where they’ll take on unique challenges before moving to the next stop.
Each challenge focuses on medical education, inclusivity, and the social and biological dimensions of health care.
The final destination: a local hotspot where teams can kick back with refreshments, network with colleagues, and celebrate a day of discovery, competition, and camaraderie.
