Chairs and Administrators can register online here or complete the 2026 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat PDF form and submit it to AACEM@saem.org.

Pricing

CDP and CAEMA Participants: Your tuition includes CDP Session #2 and CAEMA Session #3, but it does not cover the separate retreat registration fee.

For guests, the price to attend the Opening Reception/Luau (Sunday, March 15, 2026; 6:00pm) is $150 per person 21 years or older. The price for guests under 21 is $50 per person.  Please see the registration link to add guests at these events.

Cancellation Policy

A $50 fee will be charged for cancellations made prior to January 23, 2026. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after January 23, 2026.

Host Hotel

The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, 2605 Kaanapali Pkwy, Lahaina, HI, is the official host hotel for the 2026 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat. Located at the legendary Pu‘u Keka‘a (Black Rock) on Ka‘anapali Beach, this oceanfront resort offers a breathtaking blend of natural beauty, Hawaiian culture, and modern luxury—just minutes from Lahaina’s vibrant shopping, dining, and historic charm.

Hotel Perks:

• Complimentary Hawaiian cultural activities are offered daily, including hula lessons, lei making, and ukulele classes.

• Nightly cliff diving ceremony at sunset at Puʻu Kekaʻa (Black Rock).

• The resort offers complimentary shuttle service to nearby attractions, including Lahaina Town and Whalers Village.

Hotel Reservations

Book your group rate for AACEM/AAAEM Joint Retreat 2026

 When booking via the link above, please keep in mind that any pre/post extensions and upgraded rooms may not always be available to book online. If you are having trouble with the online link, please contact the Group Reservations team at 1-808-921-4645 or email grp.00377@marriott.com. The group reservations team is available from Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm HST (closed on weekends on holidays). The group voicemail and email box is also monitored daily to assist you. 

 The Marriott Maui is offering a group rate $379 USD per night and resorts fee of $35 USD per day. Be sure to book by February 13, 2026. When booking, you may also notice that there is a notification under the rate that says “Includes 49 USD Resort Fee.” Please rest assured that the discounted resort charge of $35.00 will be applied onsite at the hotel. 

Administrators, please plan to arrive at the resort before 1:00 pm HST on Sunday, March 15th, for the AAAEM General Session. Chairs, please plan to arrive at the resort  before 6:00 pm HST on Sunday, March 16th,  for the AACEM/AAAEM Retreat Welcome Reception/Luau. Programming ends on Wednesday, March 18th, by 11:00 am HST.

Air Travel

The following airports are advisable options when traveling to Maui, HI. 

• Kahului Airport (OGG) - 28 miles to/from the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

Transportation 

Car rentals, taxis, and rideshare services are available at Kahului Airport (OGG).

Taxi and rideshare fares to the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa are estimated at $90–$120 one way, with a travel time of approximately 45–60 minutes depending on traffic.

Shared airport shuttles are also available.
