This symposium will dive into real-world test-and-treat using Xpert® HCV POC RNA testing to streamline hepatitis C care in the ED. Panelists from Henry Ford Hospital (Michigan) and University of Kentucky will present data on implementation, workflow integration, and clinical outcomes.

Panelists will highlight the impact of POC RNA testing on diagnosis, linkage to care and treatment, as well as operational challenges and facilitators across diverse ED settings. The session will explore how simplified testing pathways may reduce loss to follow-up and support hepatitis C elimination goals.
