Grab your teammates and your sense of adventure — MedWAR (Medical Wilderness Adventure Race) is back and heading to Piedmont Park, Atlanta’s 200-acre urban forest and green oasis!
This high-energy, team-based competition fuses wilderness medicine, simulation, and strategy into one unforgettable outdoor challenge. Teams of three will navigate a course filled with simulated medical emergencies, rapid-fire clinical questions, and hands-on problem-solving stations — all designed to test your medical knowledge, teamwork, and creativity under pressure.
Think fast, move smart, and trust your teammates as you diagnose, improvise, and manage field emergencies — all while racing the clock and your competition.

- Cost: $80 per person
- Eligibility: Teams of three. Open to all SAEM Annual Meeting attendees
- Registration: Add this event when registering for the SAEM Annual Meeting, or update your existing registration through your SAEM account portal.
