Chief Resident Forum
The Chief Resident Forum has been a long-standing tradition at the SAEM Annual Meeting, designed to train the next generation of leaders in emergency medicine (EM) through providing aspiring chief residents a balance of leadership training while preparing
them for the practicalities of being a middle manager of residents.
The forum brings together residents from across the nation to network and share best practices in leading residency programs. All residents interested in building their
leadership skills are encouraged to attend.
EM educational leaders will share their experience in engaging, practical sessions that prepare aspiring chief residents for the challenges inherent to the role while mindfully developing
their leadership skills.
