APPLICATIONS FOR FELLOWSHIPS BEGINNING IN JULY 2024 ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED!
This site is designed to provide prospective applicants with a wealth of information about global emergency medicine fellowships.
You can use the program link to explore the fellowship programs on this site, and the map links to explore program and project locations. Each fellowship has a dedicated page for viewing that contains detailed information about the program.
For the fall 2023 application cycle (for fellowships starting in July 2024), GEMFC member programs will be joining the NRMP match. Interested applicants should register on the GEMFC website and upload application materials to programs of interest. All applicants should also register with the NRMP to submit rank lists.
Please note that there is no SOAP (Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program) as with the residency Match. Unmatched applicants may apply directly to programs with unfilled positions after the Match at will.

NRMP Match dates are as follows:
- Match opens August 16, 2023
- Ranking opens September 20, 2023
- Quota Change Deadline: October 11, 2023
- Ranking closes: October 25, 2023
- Match Day: November 8, 2023
For more information about specific fellowship programs, please contact the Program Directors or Coordinators via contact information provided by each individual program. Please note specific requested materials of each individual program when applying (e.g. personal statement, letters of interest, letters of recommendation, CVs, etc.). Please note individual application deadlines and interview timelines designated by each program. Also, please note specific program requirements regarding citizenship and credentials regarding residency training and board certification.
