Helping Mothers and Babies Survive (HMBS)

This evidence-based program equips healthcare workers with hands-on skills to provide life-saving care to mothers and newborns during childbirth. Using small-group, simulationbased instruction with individualized facilitator support, HMBS promotes continuous learning and skill retention. Fellows participate in and help facilitate HMBS training at partner sites in Peru and beyond.
