UNIVERSITY OF UTAH
Fellowship Experience
The University of Utah Department of Emergency Medicine offers a fellowship program in Global Health/ Global Emergency Medicine. This fellowship is geared towards the self-directed learner with the stated aim to help develop and apply academic interest(s) in the context of care in resource poor settings and in vulnerable populations both locally and abroad. Fellows are involved in longstanding projects in Vietnam and the Indian Health System, but proposals and opportunities for other projects upon application are encouraged as well. Applicants apply for a 1 or 2 (preferred) year program. The two year fellowship includes an advanced degree through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as a distance learner.
