Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Resident of the Year Award

Submissions for 2025 AEMP Awards are now closed.
Nominations for the 2026 AEMP Awards open January 2026. 

Awards will be presented to the winners at SAEM26.

Eligibility

  • Current PGY2 EM pharmacy resident or having finished residency < 1 year prior to the award submission deadline
  • Members of the AEMP Steering Committee, AEMP Membership Committee Chair, the AEMP scholarship charge lead, and those included in scoring are ineligible to receive scholarships
  • Prior winners of this award are ineligible to receive this award again in the future

Selection Criteria

  1. Evidence of early career achievements, innovation, and dedication to emergency medicine through teaching and education-based scholarly activity
  2. National involvement and presence in emergency medicine and pharmacy (e.g. through professional organizations/committees, research consortiums, presentations, abstracts, posters, etc.)
  3. An EM Pharmacy Resident whose colleagues feel serves as an exemplary role model

  • One nomination letter detailing nominee’s impact (maximum 2 pages). A nomination letter may be submitted by current or former colleagues, mentors or employers
