Join the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine (AACEM) and the Academy of Administrators in Academic Emergency Medicine (AAAEM) for the 16th Annual AACEM/AAAEM Retreat. Chairs and Administrators can register online or complete the 2024 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat form and submit it to AACEM@saem.org.

*CDP and CAEMA tuition includes CDP session two and CAEMA session one ONLY. Participants planning to attend the AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat in its entirety are required to register.
For adult guests (18 and over), the price to attend the Opening Reception (Sunday, March 17, 2024; 6:30pm) and the Awards Luncheon (Tuesday, March 19, 2024; 1:00pm) is $50 per event. Please see the registration link to add guests at these events. Children under 18 can attend these events at no cost but should still be noted via the registration.

Host Hotel
The Condado Vanderbilt Hotel, 1055 Ashford Ave, San Juan, 00907, Puerto Rico, is the official host hotel for the 2024 AACEM/AAAEM Annual Retreat. Group room rate is $339-$369. If you have any special needs for your hotel stay, please indicate them in the “Requests” section prior to finalizing your reservation.
Administrators, please plan to arrive at the resort before 1:00 pm AST on Sunday, March 17th, for the AAAEM General Session. Chairs, please plan to arrive at the resort before 6:30 pm AST on Sunday, March 17th, for the AACEM/AAAEM Retreat Welcome Reception. Programming ends on Wednesday, March 20, by 11:00 am AST.
Air Travel
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is the largest airport in Puerto Rico and is a convenient six-minute drive to the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel.
Transportation
Car Rentals, taxis, and ride share options are available at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). For ride sharing, the only company that offers service in Puerto Rico is UBER. You can find them at Terminals B and C, columns 16-19. Taxis are plentiful in both Terminals A and B. Car rental options include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Alamo, National, Hertz, and Thrifty.
