The St. Luke's Roosevelt Global Health Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for EM physicians to train in HIV/TB/Tropical and Travel Medicine while working in one of the best Emergency Departments in New York City.  Fellows can choose to do their MPH at Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and must work a minimum of 3 months abroad.  There is also ample opportunity for a fellow to tailor the fellowship according to a specific interest having met the requirements of the fellowship. Upon completion of the program, fellows will obtain clinical skills in infectious disease and the knowledge base to address the major international public health challenges.

The Duke International Emergency Medicine Fellowship will be a two-year program available to physicians who have completed residency training in emergency medicine.   This program will draw upon the existing educational, financial, and international resources of Duke University Medical Center.   The fellowship will be administered by the Division of Emergency Medicine in conjunction with the Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health and the Department of Surgery.   Upon completion of this program, the fellow will have gained experience in the challenges of providing medical care in an international setting, designing and implementing educational programs for the local physicians and health care providers, and in conducting research aimed at improving international emergency care.   Additionally, by the program’s completion, the fellow will have satisfied the requirements for the Master of Science in Global Health at Duke University.
