Publications

Publications sponsored or published by the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine provide members and non-members alike with information aimed at promoting the advancement of emergency medicine research, education and clinical practice.

• Academic Emergency Medicine, sponsored by SAEM, is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles, abstracts, commentaries and other materials relevant to the practice, educational advancements, and investigation of emergency medicine.
• The SAEM Newsletter is published online six times a year and provides information on the activities of SAEM and other organizations that have an impact on academic emergency medicine.
• The SAEM eNewsletter is distributed via email by the Society for Academic Embergency Medicine six times a year to alert members to events, news, deadlines, and other matters of interest in the field of academic emergency medicine.
• The SAEM Resident eNewsletter is distributed by SAEM to second-year medical residents in the field of emergency medicine to provide them with current updates on opportunities in research and funding, as well as other relevant information.
• The SAEM Emergency Medicine Academic Career Guide provides information for medical students, residents in emergency medicine and the faculty that guide them in making decisions regarding a career in academic emergency medicine.
