Call for Papers - AEM Consensus Conference (AEMCC 2009) - deadline March 2, 2009 The 2009 Academic Emergency Medicine (AEM) Consensus Conference on Public Health in the Emergency Department: Surveillance, Screening, and Intervention will be held on May 13, 2009, immediately preceding the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA. Original papers, if accepted, will be published together with the conference proceedings in the November 2009 issue of Academic Emergency Medicine. Read More Here . . . AHA/ASA/EMF/SAEM Emergency Medicine Research Fellow-to-Faculty Transition Award - Application Deadline: January 22, 2009. This award provides up to $132,000 per year and up to 5 years of funding. AEM Call for Peer-Reviewers

AEM peer-reviewer Individuals interested in being considered for appointment as an AEM peer-reviewer must send a letter of interest including areas of expertise as defined on the reviewer topic survey and a current CV. The NIH Center for Scientific Review has asked organizations such as ours to assist in developing a registry of experienced senior scientists who would make good reviewers.
