Submission Guidelines

Guidelines for authors wishing to submit manuscripts for consideration for publication in Academic Emergency Medicine may be found in an article entitled "Author Guidelines," which is downloadable as a PDF file. There authors will find advice on subjects ranging from manuscript preparation to permission requirements to peer review, as well as much more.

All new manuscript submissions must be submitted via AEM's Manuscript Central website.

AEM requires a signed copy of the ICMJE Uniform Disclosure Formfor Potential Conflicts of Interest from the first author of every manuscript before peer review will begin, and a signed form from all other authors once the paper is accepted.
