The Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine (AACEM) is organized as a concomitant committee of SAEM. Its members comprise the chairs of autonomous academic departments of emergency medicine Internationally as well as at U.S. and Canadian medical schools . The AACEM meets each spring at the SAEM Annual Meeting and each fall at the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).

The executive committee with the support of Jim Tarrant and Maryanne Greketis (SAEM) have committed to dates and a location for the Second Annual AACEM/AAAEM Meeting.

 

We are scheduled to convene April 13 and 14, 2010, at the Westin La Cantera in San Antonio, TX.

There will be a  registration fee of $200 to help cover the costs though we will be quite frugal.
