Interest Groups

Interest Groups provide a mechanism for members of the Society interested in a specific topic or area to meet, share ideas, and network in a relatively unstructured and informal fashion. Interest Groups generally conduct business electronically and may meet in person at the Annual Meeting. Members wanting to explore a specialty area are encouraged to join our interest groups. To join one or more interest groups, please use one of the two following steps:

1) Fill out this form and select which interest groups you would like to join.

2) If you are already an SAEM member and you would like to simply add an interest group membership, you can log in to your account and click the button "Update (+/-) Academies and Interest Groups".

Members who wish to create a new interest group should consult the Interest Group Orientation Guide for specific information on the development and organization of an Interest Group.
