Carolyn Holland, MD, MEd

Andra Blomkalns, MD, MBA

Stanford University School of Medicine

Andra Blomkalns, MD, MBA serves as Chair of Emergency Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine. Prior to coming to Stanford in 2018, Andra was at UT Southwestern, Dallas, TX as Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and Business Development. She trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati where she was Residency Program Director and Vice Chair of Education. Her research has spanned clinical cardiovascular research as well as basic science research on obesity and the gut microbiome. As a past-President of SAEM (2016), Andra continues as the SAEM Wellness Committee Chair. In her personal time, Andra enjoys spending time with her dog, Sansa, as a Neocaridina hobbyist, and attempting to garden.

Matthew Stull, MD

Dr. Matt Stull is an EM-Intensivist and Assistant Program Director at the University Hospitals-Cleveland Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University EM Residency. He works as a cardiothoracic intensivist in addition to his time in the ED. He trained at the University of Pittsburgh for medical school, the University of Cincinnati for EM residency, and University of Michigan for critical care fellowship, as well as completing a medical education fellowship in Washington, D.C. His interests include educational innovation, leadership development, post-arrest management and mechanical circulatory support.

Shannon Toohey, MD, MAEd

University of California, Irvine

Shannon Toohey is the Residency Program Director for the University of California, Irvine Department of Emergency Medicine. In 2016, she completed the Multimedia Design and Educational Technology (MDEdTech) Fellowship at the University of California Irvine. She completed medical school at UC Irvine School of Medicine, after which she completed her residency at the UC Irvine Medical Center. She received a Masters in Education, Multimedia and Instructional Design at Cal Poly Pomona. During her time at UC Irvine she has developed and expanded many educational programs for the residents including a flipped medical student and intern podcast curriculum, oral board review course and helped to revamp the curriculum. Her interests include asynchronous learning, flipped curricula, resident and patient education.

Cynthia Price

David Snow, MD

Dr. Snow completed his residency training at the University of Cincinnati's Emergency Medicine residency, serving as a Chief Resident from 2012-2013. From there he came to Chicago as the APD at UIC's EM Residency, serving in this role for 5 years. He is currently the Program Director for the EM residency program at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.
