Physician Advocacy Boot Camp: Creating Change Beyond the Emergency Department

Despite emergency physicians’ unique position to advocate for vulnerable patient populations, few physicians have received formal training in advocacy. This workshop will teach physicians how to impact systemic change for their patients. Interactive, case based didactics will range from how to create change within your own hospital system to direct activism as a physician and will be taught by experts in the field. The session is designed for providers at all levels and varying degrees of engagement.
