Clerkship Director Boot Camp
There are many skills required of emergency medicine clerkship directors (CDs) — from developing a curriculum, to training residents and faculty to assessing students, to providing sound career advice for home and visiting students. CDs are also beholden to many stakeholders: the medical school, the department, students as learners and as advisees. Additionally, as part of their role, CDs are often responsible for maintaining and documenting compliance with accreditation standards, especially during LCME visits. This workshop will address vital skills for running a successful clerkship and how to navigate common pitfalls.Clerkship Directors in Emergency Medicine (CDEM) Academy Sponsored
