Promotes education, research and scholarship in areas relating to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender health


Promotes and coordinates activities of ADIEM members and sponsored projects toward scientific injury to areas relating to healthcare disparities, health equity, diversity and inclusion

Social Media and Publications

Evaluates and develops ways to use social media to advertise, educate, and promote ADIEM mission


Composed of resident and fellow membership that works on increasing participation, integrating junior learners, and development of future ADIEM leaders


Coordinates the recruitment and election process for ADIEM leadership positions

Resident Scholarship

Reviews proposals for ADIEM sponsored scholarship and provides recommendations to the executive board as requested


Identifies methods and opportunities to ADIEM to provide education of its mission to colleagues, learners, and public. Also promotes scholarship in this regard both within and outside of SAEM


Promotes and reviews nominations for ADIEM annual awards given at SAEM Academy meeting
