The Imago Obscura Award was developed by the University Association for Emergency Medical Services (later re-named the University Association for Emergency Medicine). It was awarded for the "best" slide, usually made incomprehensible by large numbers of data points, multiple colors, etc. The award was discontinued by SAEM in 1996.
