Describe how the residents meet the requirement of engage in scholarly activity:
Residents are required to complete a scholarly project of publishable quality. This project may be focused in a variety of areas, but should have the goal of enhancing emergency care through the advancement of education, the dissemination of knowledge, or primary discovery (research). While the purpose of the scholarly requirement is to create a high quality project, we allow for a broad interpretation in order to foster creativity within the residents and to assist them in reaching their individual potentials.
