Electronic database (MedHub) allows electronic resident folders, teaching files, clinical pictures and educational resources invaluable for real-time clinical care and teaching. The program encourages residents to attend national EM meetings, but doesn't "select" which ones they should attend. Leadership development is highly encouraged. This includes involvement in IUSM (e.g. Housestaff Council), State, and National EM organizations (the program pays for such activities). Residents have served as EMRA President, on the SAEM BOD and the AAEM BOD and we have a resident as a voting member of IN ACEP.
