Grant Writing Workshop (Top)

Are you in the process of submitting or resubmitting a grant application? Are you looking to improve your chances of federal funding? If you are, SAEM can help!

This year on May 9th, 2012 at the SAEM Annual Meeting in Chicago, the Research Committee will host a Grant Writing Workshop sponsored by the University of Cincinnati to demonstrate the best ways to improve your chances of being funded. Experts from around the country will share their secrets to becoming a federally funded researcher; but wait…there’s more! Last year the Research Committee offered the exclusive opportunity for participants to get personalized feedback on grants that were ready for submission, and due to the overwhelming success of the session, it’s back! In this individual feedback session, review and feedback will be provided for grants in various stages of preparation. Space is limited and selection for feedback session will be on a "first come first serve" basis.

You can register for the Grant Writing Workshop online at http://am2012.saem.org. For instructions on how to submit your grant for review by our experts after you register, please contact Melissa McMillian at mmcmillian@saem.org or (847) 813-9823 x. 203.

Course fee is $125; lunch and course materials will be provided.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the University of Cincinnati and Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Cincinnati designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
