This exciting two-day course is designed for junior faculty leaders in academic emergency medicine seeking a fundamental understanding of the various issues related to leading an academic Department of Emergency Medicine. The presentations are designed to be interactive and will be presented by experts in academic emergency medicine.  The course will cover topics such as: leadership skills, strategic planning, team building, conflict resolution, communication skills, change management, an overview of departmental finances and many others.
