2001 Annual Meeting

May 6-9, Atlanta Hilton and Towers

NOTE: SAEM has been informed that the room block at the headquarters hotel, the Atlanta Hilton, is soldout.   SAEM has obtained overflow rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel (SOLD OUT), and the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, which is approximately 2-3 blocks from the Hilton Hotel. For reservations at the Fairfield Inn please call 404-659-2727 and ask for a reservation with the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine group. The room rate is $84 single/double. It is very important to note that the SAEM block is usually sold out 4-8 weeks prior to the Annual Meeting, but in the last 4 weeks before the Meeting, a substantial number of reservations are cancelled. Last year the block at the San Francisco Hilton was expanded by about 50% (since the hotel was able to expand the block), but by the time of the Meeting the block had decreased to almost the exact number of rooms in the original block. Therefore, attendees are encouraged to call the Atlanta Hilton back in the next two weeks as they may have availability.
