Chief Resident Forum Scholarship
The Chief Resident Forum is designed for chief residents in EM (and those looking to become one) to engage with senior leaders in our field; to develop strategies for the development of a roadmap to leadership in EM; to develop leadership and communication skills; and to overcome challenges facing resident leaders while developing wellness and time management skills. It will take place on Thursday, May 16th, 2019. The Chief Resident Forum will feature focused and dynamic didactic presentations, interactive sessions, panel discussions, and networking sessions with fellow resident leaders as well as established senior leaders in EM administration, education and research. The Chief Resident Forum Scholarship exists to offset costs associated with attendance to the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Annual Meeting, May 14-17, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV and participation in the Chief Resident Forum. Three (3) scholarship award winners will be reimbursed up to $500 each to be used toward the cost of registration, travel, and housing.
The application consists of:

- Letter of support from the applicant’s Program Director assuring the applicant will receive the time off from clinical responsibilities to attend SAEM19 if chosen.
- Submit application as a single PDF to email@example.com by 3/31/2019. Award announcements will be made by 4/8/2019.

Three (3) awards of $500 each to be used towards travel, lodging, and SAEM national conference registration expenses. Awardees will also have the Chief Resident Forum registration fee waived.
