Current CME Credit Opportunities

SAEM Online

The first online interactive course of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine is now open to members and nonmembers. The course titled "Abdominal Pain in the Elder Adult" is free for participants who do not wish to receive CME credit, or $95 for six (6.0) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. This course is ideal for practicing physicians or physicians in training.

 
SAEM Annual Meeting

The Society for Academic Emergency Medicine offers CME credit for various events at its Annual Meeting. The CME Attendance Verification Form for the 2013 SAEM Annual Meeting is now available, and must be received at the SAEM office in Des Plaines, IL NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31, 2013 for CME credit to be awarded.  There will be no exceptions to this deadline.

AEM

Academic Emergency Medicine is now offering continuing medical education (CME) credits for reading select articles in the journal and successfully completing a test on the content. Physicians interested in completing the exam should log on to www.wileyblackwellcme.com. Upon successfully finishing the activity, physicians will receive an electronic certificate of completion, which can be printed and saved online under the user's profile. The program is free to subscribers to the journal.

NextGenU.org

Registration is now open for a new, globally available Emergency Medicine clerkship. It is free, and created in partnership with the International Federation for Emergency Medicine and Emory Center for Injury Control , with the world's first free university Next Generation University (www.NextGenU.org).
