About SAEM 2015

This year's Annual Meeting will include hundreds of original presentations from didactics  and abstracts to innovations, Ignite presentations, poster sessions, and more! Hours upon hours of gathering data and compiling and analyzing results are culminating in this one-week exhibition of original research and innovative teaching methods.

If you are presenting at SAEM, information and required forms are available at Present at SAEM.

SAEM is also hosting several pre-meeting workshops before the Annual Meeting for you to explore. Improve your grantsmanship at the Grant Writing Workshop, or build up your leadership skills at the Senior Faculty Leadership Forum. The AEM Consensus Conference is always a hit, and our other special sessions are sure to inspire.

Check out our pre-meeting workshops (coming later).

Residents and Students

Residents and medical students from across the country come to SAEM for guidance, advice, exploration and collaboration. The Residency and Fellowship Fair is a must for all EM students and residents. Institutions from every region come to the Fair to showcase their programs and help you choose the best fit for you.

Our Medical Student Symposium is a hot spot for students to learn about emergency medicine. Sit down with EM residency directors and ask whatever is on your mind. Figure out how to identify the right residency program and then learn how to get accepted!

The Resident Leadership Forum is packed with advice on transitioning out of residency and into an academic career. This session has sold out at past meetings, so make sure to sign up early! There are also many didactics and abstracts throughout the week that you will find invaluable for your clinical and academic career.
