The SAEM Masters Secret Series is a series of speakers with 15-minute talks addressing the topic: "The most important lesson I learned in my career was X."
The program will include time for Q&A and interactions with the audience. This program is expected to have varied topic foci including research, leadership, education, and policy. Ideally this will also reengage senior leaders and enhance career development for residents and junior faculty.
Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Describe key leadership lessons from recognized leaders in academic emergency medicine
- Develop techniques and focus points for career longevity and success
- Assess differences in life and career successes between different leaders and their styles
